Our Blended Pathway is designed for families who are eligible for government funding whilst also accessing additional privately funded sessions.
This is the most common arrangement for many families, combining funded childcare hours with privately funded attendance to create a pattern of care that best supports their family's needs.
Government funding is applied in accordance with current funding regulations, with any additional attendance covered through private fees.

Our Funded Pathway is designed for families who wish to access their funded childcare entitlement without purchasing additional privately funded sessions.
Whilst government funding contributes towards childcare provision, it does not cover the full cost of delivering nursery services, including meals, snacks, consumables, resources and enrichment opportunities.
For this reason, consumable charges may apply in accordance with our current Investment Structure.
We are committed to complete transparency and will always explain any applicable charges before a place is accepted.
As funded places are offered on a limited basis and subject to availability, we encourage families to speak with our management team as early as possible to discuss eligibility and availability.
FUNDING FROM 9 MONTHS
Eligible working families may access funded childcare from the term after their child turns nine months old.
UNIVERSAL FUNDING
From the term after a child's third birthday, all children become eligible for Universal Funding.
At Holly Trees, this entitlement is delivered as approximately 11.2 funded hours per week across the full calendar year.
EXTENDED FUNDING
Eligible working families may qualify for additional funded hours through the Extended Funding scheme.
At Holly Trees, the combined entitlement is delivered as approximately 22.4 funded hours per week across the full calendar year.
Eligibility is determined by HM Government and families are responsible for obtaining and maintaining any required eligibility codes.
Funding calculations are based on current government funding allocations and may vary in line with future government guidance and local authority funding arrangements.
FUNDING AT HOLLY TREES
Holly Trees is an all-year-round nursery.
Unlike term-time settings, funded hours are stretched across the full calendar year, allowing children to benefit from a consistent nursery experience and providing families with greater flexibility throughout the year.
As a sole-funding nursery, funded hours must be allocated exclusively to Holly Trees.
We do not split government funding with other nurseries, pre-schools or childminders. Families choosing to access funding at Holly Trees must therefore allocate their full funded entitlement to the nursery.
This approach allows us to provide continuity of care, maintain consistency for children and ensure that families receive a clear and transparent funding arrangement.
